About Us
Dr. Robin L. Owens is an Associate Professor of Religion at Mount Saint Mary’s University. Dr. Owens teaches, mentors, and coaches high-achieving leaders to help them to discover and express their leadership purpose. She is the host of the popular podcast “Leadership Purpose with Dr. Robin.” Dr. Owens is the author of two forthcoming books—Purpose-Based Decisions: An Inspirational Guide to More Meaning, Purpose, and Passion in Your Leadership, Business or Career (Balboa Press, 2022) and “My Faith in the Constitution is Whole:” Barbara Jordan Signifies on Scriptures (Georgetown University Press, 2022).
Kimberly Nao is an Associate Professor of Education at Mount Saint Mary's University and the founder of Nao & Associates, a DEI and Antiracism consulting firm. She is a faculty fellow at MSMU's Center for the Advancement of Women and a MSMU Diversity Fellow. As consultant, she works extensively on DEI issues with a particular emphasis on the intersection of race and gender and helps organizations engage in antiracist structural change. She coaches executive leaders and has trained K-12 teachers, police officers, faculty and staff in higher education, health care organizations. As a certified yoga and mindfulness facilitator, Kimberly believes that self-awareness and compassion for others leads to social transformation.
